Gabriela Bastida and Giovana Signori participated in the Demo Day StartBEC event in Valencia, showcasing their first-prize idea from the Hackathon on Bioeconomy. This event, part of the StartBEC program by AINIA and MAPA, aimed to provide technological consultancy to bioeconomy start-ups.
On June 27th, LEPAMAP-PRODIS, represented by the pre-doctoral researchers Gabriela Bastida and Giovana Signori, participated in the Demo Day StartBEC event, promoted by AINIA and the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food (MAPA), in Valencia.Â

The Demo Day was the third event of a series of encounters, that started with the Hackathon on Bioeconomy in February, where the team from UdG won first place. In the Demo Day, the team got to present their first-prize idea regarding the solution they proposed to address problems related to sustainability, bioeconomy and circularity. These events were part of the StartBEC program, promoted by AINIA and MAPA, which aimed at providing technological consultancy to various start-ups related to the bioeconomy area.
